Eagle Creek pack-it items are my new favorite. Two week trip to Europe or long weekend to the coast is a snap. The combination of quarter, half, tube, and cube, make packing right for my daypack, locker, and carry on bags. Transfer between my luggage is a snap. The tube and quarter cases fit along the ridges in the bottom of the carry on caused by the extension handle frame. The half-cube and cubes fit easily above those. I also have a travel folder to keep shirts/pants flat and pressed. Everything fits great in my 22-inch carry on. I continue to use nylon stuff sacks for shoes. Cost with STP discounts can't be beat on the web.
