It looks like my 17" laptop will fit fine in the laptop sleeve, and while the straps looked a bit excessive at first glance, I think they'll hold the top in place just fine when the bag is full. This is a very nice backpack, and looks to be quite roomy. Thanks, STP!

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, which is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. It replaces a Rick Steves Avanti back pack. It feels substantial and well made, roomy and well thought out. It is a little over the top in its engineering, feels like too many straps but I think the way they are placed WILL help distrbute the weight of the pack better when fully loaded. And it was the first affordable computer back pack I've seen that also has a sleeve to slide onto the handle of rolling luggage. it appears roomy enough to carry my lap top and a change or two of clothes with a ditty kit and still fit under the seat in front of me on the plane

  • Question “What size laptop computer does this hold?”
Asked on 11/24/2012 12:00:00 AM by foxyroxy from Nebraska
    • Answer This pack does not have a designed laptop sleeve, with the pack having dimensions of 11.5" wide and 20" high it could carry lap top that had dimensions less than these.

  • Question “What does port status mean?|Will the size of this pack be too large to be my 2nd carryon on international flights?|Does the lap top section take up alot of room as I really don't plan to take a lap top?”
Asked on 3/31/2012 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer The bag does meet international carry on requirements and the laptop sleeve does not take up a great deal of space in the pack.
