Got it for a friend. She has yet to go to Hong Kong, but she really likes the case. I (a male) would consider this also if I needed a rolling bag - but I prefer my Deuter Backpack. Please don't tell her what a deal it was at STP.

Traveled in Europe for 2 weeks. Great suitcase to travel with, light weight, thin to fit on the trains, great wheels, more room than first thought. It was best suitcase of the 7 traveling with me...

I was excited to get this product because I'd had great success with my new EC backpack, however, I had to send this one back. I am a very frequent traveler and have been for decades, experimenting with luggage throughout my travels. I found the EC compartments to be rather large, with no smaller compartments readily available to throw that jacket or book in while ridding myself of carrying items. Additionally, the bag was quite large overall -- something that might be used on a multi-week family vacation, rather than a one week business trip. While you might use it for a long trip, I felt the material was rather thin/flimsy for being the sole protection between such a large quantity of my possessions and the luggage handling elements. Expansion was handled through straps, rather than zippered pullouts. These straps interfered with opening the luggage, so there was no easy way to get in and out of the bag quickly. When cinching the straps in, it would leave extra length that had the potential to be caught in luggage handling equipment. The zippers seemed sturdy enough, as did the wheels. The pullout handle did not have a high quality feel though. Overall, I felt this piece didn't really conform to standard luggage criteria in design or material selection.

This is a wonderfully made, high quality bag from Eagle Creek. The capacity is VERY generous, more than adequate for me for a 2 week vacation. Between trips, I plan to use it to store out-of-season clothes. I especially like the tall, narrow shape-- makes it easier to handle and manoever than wider bags. Also, when used for storage, I can stand it up and it will take up very little space. As usual, STP's price can't be beat.

This is a typical Eagle Creek product: beautifully designed and well constructed. I don't doubt the stated capacity but the suitcase is smaller than I expected. The organization into compartments partially makes up for it, but the capacity is just not there. For the right purpose, this is a great bag, but it will not do for an extended trip for which different types of clothing are needed or for which various types of gear are packed.

This is a well-built case. It stands up to helicopters, MRAPs, and other armored vehicles I use. It also resists, so far, getting caught in conveyor belts in airports! It's easy to pack and versatile. Well worth the money! I expect this case will last at least a decade.

I bought this bag to use on a recent 3-week buisness trip to the UK. I was on planes, trains and in automobiles. I had to carry the bag up and down steps and into trains. The bag survived the three weeks and it was narrow enough to fit into the aisle on the trains. I packed it with sweaters and boots and it weighed about 40 pounds. The handle was the perfect height for me-I am 5'6". The wheels are durable and I even pulled the bag up a few carpeted steps. I decorated it with blue duck tape for ease of identification as the bag is a dark color, but the shape makes it easier to find on the carousel at baggage claim.

My husband and I just used this suitcase on a recent weekend trip to Indianapolis, and loved it! It rolled smoothly and didn't tip. We each have one to take out West on a two-week family vacation this summer. The only thing I would change is a more unique color, but we couldn't beat the close out price, and are extremely pleased. [...] Thanks, Sierra Trading Post!
