    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    For the most part has Eagle Creek quality,however, handle doesn't lock in closed position so you have to lift bag with cloth handles. That's inconvenient. Also, have to manipulate cloth handles to raise metal handle. Inconvenient again. Product not as well engineered as most Eagle Creek products.

    This bag is great for travel - holds enough for an overnight and fits in the overhead compartment easily. Not too heavy. I've traveled around the world with this bag and it worked perfectly.

    It is advertised to fit under an airline seat but it does not ... at least not the smaller planes I fly up and down the west coast. It is very convenient to wheel in the airport but if you have to stop and do stairs the handles are hard to grab quickly. A single suitcase type handle would be better than the double floppy handles even. If you use the wrap to hold them together it is in the way of the wheeled handle.
