This bag is everything that I was looking for, with the exception of the strap design. The strap is way too long, but would be great for someone seven feet tall. The arrangement to take up extra strap length causes a big loop of excess strap to hang off of the front of the bag, when the strap is adjusted to fit an average height person (I'm 5' 10"). This big loop could be a disaster waiting to happen, as it would be sure to catch on things like door handles, and what not. I have modified the strap by shortening it and folding over and sewing the end into a buckle stop, eliminating the loop. With the strap loop now gone, I think this bag will work perfectly for travel.
