    I always wear a size 10 and have never had to return a pair of shoes for wrong size but these were WAY too big. I have returned them to get a full size smaller and I never wear a 9! I am a HUGE fan of Earth shoes and wear little else. I don't know why this certain style would run SOOO big.

    I sent the first pair back and swapped them for another. They were both too long but narrow. I like the concept of the negative heel technology because I have plantar fasciitis but after 3 different pairs of Earth shoes that don't fit right, I've given up on them.

    I bought these to work at the hospital. They run too long and too narrow. This is the 2nd pair of Earth with the negative heel technology and they both ran narrow. I'm giving up on this brand.

    The shoes are very attractive for casual wear. I love the quality of the leather and the design of the shoe. The only problem is the size--they feel a size too big, even though I ordered them a half-size smaller than I usually wear.

    Let me just say that normally I love Earth shoes. I own several pairs. However, these shoes do not fit like Earth shoes.     The recommendations were for 1/2 to 1 size smaller and I went with the 1/2. It is really closer to the 1 size. The shoe slips, but I think that is mainly because there is fleece lining throughout the shoe except in the heel area, where there is a slippery firm plastic.

    I ordered these despite all the negative reviews. I was hopeful that in ordering a size smaller these would work. I can still fit an entire finger behind my heel. I wear clogs all the time and these wouldn't work as a clog either. Sorry to say they're going back.
