    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    These are not bad shoes, look very nice and are what I would describe as a quality shoe. However, the shoes tend to run a little small/narrow in the heel area and are very uncomfortable on the back of my heels. I am sure that once the shoes get worn in it will be fine, but for me right out the box they just are not that comfortable. Had it not been for that I would have given them 4 stars.

    I bought size 13, because that was the biggest, but it was too small, so next time I'll go for size 14 or 14,5. Please let me know if you are able to fix that. Any model will go, because the negative heel system is fantastic. I was wearing them in the 70's and 80's. Wonderful. No more pain in my back.

    Earth shoes still provide the BEST arch support and foot position out there, and this is a nice looking shoe. Unfortunately, they are no longer made with the really wide toebox - they are now average in width - this has changed sometime over the last few years. No longer is this a great shoe for someone with bunions.
