    The first time I put these on, the lower heel position felt strange, but within 30 seconds or less, I couldn't believe how comfortable these felt; I wore them at work all day without any break-in time, and they felt great all day. I've ordered another pair, slightly different style, I like the Earth Shoe so much.

    I got these because of the negative heel deal and the alleged benefits to posture and back alignment. Took only a day or so to get used to the footbed angle, and now I don't really notice it at all. Time will tell if it helps with low back pain.

    I have three pairs of Earth shoes because the negative heel helps my back alignment. These are very good except for the heel cup, which I fixed with a thin pad. I have a knot on my heel, so others may not have the same need for the pad.
