Earth Port Sandals - Leather (For Men)

For years, Earth shoes and sandals have relieved me from foot pain. The pain was diagnosed as plantar facitis. The lower heel stretched the muscle or tendon that runs down the calf to the bottom of the foot. It worked wonders for me.

I liked these so much I bought a second pair!

Although well made, the velcro bands are not long enough and the clips are very difficult to fasten and unfasten

I love all Earth shoes and sandals. They are the most comfortable shoes available.

Very similar to previous Earth sandals, but look cheaper, uglier.

Good looking sandals are comfortable. I have a wide foot--so please--please tell the company to make those front straps a half inch longer (will then fit a wide and a narrow foot). Also--these have "comfort ridges" on the part where your foot goes. They would be better off to go with some sort of even pattern---because the "ridges" will not exactly match with your foot (feels slightly odd> probably just at first).

The straps are the first thing, they rub in several places even after wearing many times. It is so bad that you have to loosen them up a bunch to make them comfortable, thus making them too loose. The footbed is comfortable for the most part. The heel has a lower position for the as described benefits, but this leaves a lack of cushioning for us heel strikers, not too bad though, and i did adjust my heavy heel striking pretty quickly. I read that you should size up. This is not true. I am a size 10.5 or 11 and these are too big. A 10 or 10.5 would have been better as I followed the advice and got an 11. The retaining top straps are lacking the proper sizing as well, they are too long. According to the hip and fashionable wife they look good.
