“Beware of the NAME of the color!”

“I bought these Earth Solar shoes in the Almond Calf color. LOVED them. Soo comfortable right out of the box! Leather was soft, and the shoe bed molded to my feet instantly. I liked them so much, when I saw them on sale, I ordered a 2nd pair (back-ups!!) BUT, the 2nd pair was in the color called "Brown Twister." I didn't realize the leather in the "twister" series would be so much more stiff!!! It seems like it would resist scuffing a little more than the calf, but it's not as soft and supple on the foot. Shoes overall are very comfy, but the type of leather and color are not all created equal. Beware.”
