I have been eyeballing these shoes for over a year and when STP offered them for under $40 I jumped like a horse stepping on a rattler!
I have lots of Earth and Kalso Earth shoes but this was my first pair of Earthies. They arrived very quickly. Box was damaged which I detest. Can't complain however as shoes were phenomenally priced at under $40!
I got the Taupe color. It kind of looks like a grayish putty. Very neutral and will go with most anything.
The shoes are well made with a zipper in back for very easy entry. I noticed a bit of stitching on the inside by the back zipper was uneven but you can't see this wearing the shoes.
The ankle circumference is quite generous, especially since my ankles are enlarged from injuries, swelling and surgeries.
The shoes are buttery soft with two very pretty rosette-type flowers on the front. I was concerned they might look cheap but not at all; they are pretty and well-constructed.
There is an Earthies logo on the inside where my heel sits that rubs my overly-sensitive feet; hence the 4 stars out of 5. Some moleskin should fix this right up and it will probably not be an issue for most people.
These are truly year-round shoes here in Southern California I will wear these barefoot with my skirts, capris and sundresses in the warm months and with nylons and tights or leggings and skirts, pants, long tunics and dresses in the cold months.
