Earthies Ferrara BootsReviewed by 3dvizwiz from Boulder, CO on Monday, December 30, 2013If I remember correctly, another reviewer suggested that these would be good for 'steampunk' (which I had to go and look up). On me, unfortunately, the effect was more of 'Herman Munster', given the boots' high platform. The comfort and fit was fine - I usually take a 9 in this line, and they were comfortable - but I couldn't get past the appearance, so mine were returned.

I was able to wear them for a party and the pain was minimal when I got home! Just a few point - stretches and my feet were fine! They do look kinda granny-ish but for steam punk wear and gothic its great comfort! I highly recommend them!

I tend to wear my boots with thicker socks but the size I would normally order, was not available. So I ordered the size I wear in pumps but alas, the boot did not zip easily. The boot felt like it had a weird angle at the ankle (I had to strangely angle my foot to get it to zip and then it felt as if it was tugging) but I did not know if it was the boot, or the size. Needless to say, I am returning these. Otherwise they are well made with a rich quality appearance and feel. I gave it a 4 only because of the fit at the ankle.

Great price as I searched and they beat all other stores. Only thing I didn't like is they didn't come in half sizes, but the size I got was true to size. Love the boot.
