I love these shoes. They were comfy right out of the box. I usually wear an 8.5 and that is the size I ordered. I can only fit a very thin trouser sock in these. I wore them to work for 9 hours the first day and had a little soreness over the top of my foot where the laces are. However, considering they hadn't been broken in I was happy with them. I can wear them shopping and even walking the dog. I'm satisfied.

Love this brand because of the arch support. Its hard to fit custom orthotics in dress shoes. Surprised by need to size up with this oxford. In size 6.5 Earthies sandals all summer and ended up needing a 7.5 in this style worn with a trouser sock. I do have a wide foot, high arch and instep. Love this brand overall because the built in arch takes pressure off the ball of the foot when wearing a high heel. This makes the work day a lot more comfortable without compromising style.

These are beautiful shoes. Made the way shoes used to be made. I usually wear a 7.5 and my foot is a bit narrow, and the 7.5 M fit perfectly. They are comfortable right out of the box. Look great with a pair of dress slacks or a long skirt.

Have been looking for a higher heel which has oxford tie-up security, inside arch support, strong non-spikey heel shape, and a little styling for a long time. This design fit the bill! However, with its padded sole & higher heel (pushing the toes forward) the space of the toe box is quite tight. I started with my normal size, found the toebox too tight, & had the fronts professionally stretched for a week. When the results weren't adequate, I returned the shoes and switched for a half size larger. Now I'm getting those stretched. I won't give up yet because I like the shoe so much. Keep your fingers Xd for me that this round of stretching works!
