Reviewed by Lucie the shoe hunter from Florida on Monday, April 1, 2013Nice shoes, however I orginally got this shoe in a size 6.5 and had to get it here in a size 7. I find that the size 7 gives me a litte more room in the toe box. The boots and booties (pumps also) in this brand runs narrow across the toe box so I suggest going up one size to get a good fit.
FYI to this brand : widen the toe box and put in more support and cushsion from heel to toe; also up the toe box so that the leather does not rub against the toes.
Overall a good shoe its on the Podiarty List, so "make it work"
Reviewed by Sasha from ATX. on Monday, October 15, 2012Very nice looking shoe to wear with long jeans. Super tight and uncomfortable. I usually wear 7.5 or 8 medium. Got these in an 8 and I cannot even wear thin socks under them because they are so tight, sides and top. The heel seems to fit just fine and they are long enough for my foot, it is just the width that is so constricting. Maybe they will stretch to comfortable fit but in my experience a shoe that hurts from the get go is never going to become very comfortable.
- Best Uses: Casual dressy, Going Out, With long jeans, Work
- Cons: Pinch And Hurt, Run small, Too tight
- Pros: Look Great, Really well made
Verified Buyer Reviewed by College Girl from West Coast, USA on Thursday, August 2, 2012I have not yet made up my mind about these shoes. On the CON side: slightly narrow in the forefoot, pinches a bit when my weight is forward (my foot is on the wide side of M). Slips in the heel, yet I can't size down (I got size 9, I generally wear 9-9 1/2). Not super stable to stand and walk in. And finally, the pointed, slightly upturned toe gives the booties a bit of a "Santa's Workshop" vibe... at least when viewed from above (wearer's perspective). On the PRO side: they're attractive from the side. The leather is soft. The cupped heel allows me to distribute my weight back on the heels comfortably, unlike most high-heeled shoes, which make me feel like I'm standing on my tiptoes. For 3" heels, they are pretty comfy... just not as heavenly comfy as the other pair of Earthies I own (which admittedly are about an inch lower, and have a wedge--the Lucia). I may keep them for the time being just because I don't have another pair of closed-toed shoes for dressy occasions.
- Best Uses: Date Night, Elf or witch costume, Going Out, Office
