They are comfortable to wear for long stretches and look great with jeans and skirts. I saw that others had problems with the back strap being too long. I did not have this problem and found them true to size. I ordered the brown and wish they had them in black as well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy as second pair. Earthies are by far my favorite shoe brand.

The straps all over the top and sides were too tight for my wide feet. I can put them on, but the straps indented too much on the tops of my feet. The back heel strap is wide in width, which detracts from the femininity of the shoe. The strap is also very long. I had to pull it way past where the velcro mate ended, though it was still secure enough. This seems like it would be a comfortable shoe if you have medium width feet. Earthies do not come in wide widths.

Petra Wedge Sandals - Woven LeatherVerified Buyer Reviewed by 3dvizwiz from Boulder, CO on Thursday, September 4, 2014I'd love to rate these higher, as they're very cute (I *love* the green, and have ordered two pairs now to try to resolve the fit issue). However, it seems that the back strap is rather long, and the dye shows as a dark mark where the strap threads through the metal loop at the back of the shoe. I have to pull the strap so far forward to hold my foot in place that it looks odd, and not much of the velcro is attached for holding tightly as a result. I'm uncertain as to whether or not I'll try a third pair, since they're otherwise very nice, but the fit may be the main answer. Three stars - one off for the back strap, and one off for the 'slurping' sound that my foot makes when walking since the strap isn't sized properly.
