Then, I saw the brown pair at STP at a price I couldn't pass up. I wear these boots, either in brown or black nearly every day in Fall --- with skinny jeans tucked in, sometimes with a knit moto jacket. They are comfortable, edgy, and true to size. I can't really wear them in snow because the bottoms don't have traction.

I sent them back and didn't reorder because I was afraid the 8 1/2 still wouldn't fit. To bad because these are nice!

I could have saved a lot of money and felt more comfortable in my feet! These particular boots (I bought a brown pair and a black pair) are beautifully made and seriously comfortable. I had never heard about this brand prior to buying a pair of clearance sandals made by Earthies this summer. When I put them on I said, this is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn! Great!

Ordered a pair in brown earlier in the winter; and although this style has a moderately pointed heel, I had ample room for both my orthopedic inserts as well as thick wool socks to keep my heel from slipping. Just received the same (size and style) boot in black, but it's a full 1/4" shorter and consequently very snug in the toe box. Still on the fence about keeping them . . . no inserts or cushy socks fitting in these latest boots. Earthies really needs to work on assuring consistency in sizing; especially in the online market.

Ordered a size 7 and it was far too small. Exchanged for an 8 and it was too big. There seems to be a lack of quality control with items made in China (like these boots). The size 8 did not have the same workmanship as the earlier size. Overall, my experience with these boots has been disappointing.Never would have reordered in a bigger size if the first pair looked as bad as the second pair.

Ordered my normal size 7 but they were way too small, toes bunched up at the end of the toe box. Other than the sizing problems and hassles with return and shipping, this is an attractive boot, nice brown color, but the leather is on the thin side, which is fine with me. Have not received the new size yet, so I am hoping this solves the problem. If sizing is still an issue (i.e. too big), I will down-grade my rating, return the boot and make another selection .
