Earthies Tropez Sandals (For Women)

This is the second pair of Earthies I've tried ordering via mail. Each had odd placement of key items. For this, the arch is Back towards the heel (in such a strange way), the other had ankle straps that were giant. Anyway, the shoes are gorgeous and well made, but the "last" seems unbalanced and not at all in line with the original Earth shoes (of which I have many pairs). I really want to love Earthies, but no luck so far. Tese are going back.

i love the look of these shoes. i got the bright red and it's very eye-catching and fun. the shoe is very comfy around my foot. (i've got pretty easy feet to fit, though.) the leather is soft and seems well made. but i'm used to chunkier heels (or platforms), ones that are as wide at the base as at the top. so although these are nowhere near stiletto, they have a bit of that effect on me. i've got balance probs and am not sure there's enough grippy surface at the heel for me not to slip or wobble over. for very light walking and for sitting and looking pretty i am tempted to keep the shoes, especially at this great STP price(!) but i don't know. i'm afraid i'll end up not wearing them enough...

I loved the look of these shoes but when I put them on they fall off quite easily. Walking in them also poses a problem as I twisted my ankle several times. Cute shoes but sadly will have to return.

I had read other comments about these shoes being wobbly, and I must agree in hindsight. The fit is loose (and different between colors - the black pair was extremely loose, and the tan pair only moderately loose), and while I didn't wobble much, I was unsteady at times, and decided that the risk wasn't worth it. I usually wear a 9-9.5 in shoes, had ordered both pairs of these in a 9, and might recommend going down at least a half to a full size.

Casual and night out wear. Comfortable heels, don't fall off my feet.
