Pros:

Best Uses:
Hiking
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“This is my first trekking pole. Like many others, I was not a believer in trekking poles. I completely changed my mind once I used it in a 11 miles hike with substantial elevation gain and loss. I went to a local outdoor store to check out the other poles and nothing can beat the price/feature combination of these. Things I like: - grip: foam grip feels more confortable than regular ruber/plastic. - locking mechanism: very sturdy, very secure, easy and quick to lock. - height adjustment: very good range. I am 6'1" and I had no problem finding the right height going up hill in a very steep mountain or coming down. - weight: about the same as any other aluminium poles. Others have already mentioned that the poles don't stay in place when fully compressed. However, this is an non-issue for me. I just strap the poles upside-down on my backpack. Costs less than half of other poles with similar features.”
