Easton EC70 700c SL Aero Fork

I broke my fork right after I bought my first tri bike, a quintana roo, dropped off my car rack! This fork made replacement easy and not to much $. It turned out to be an upgrade and it looks good on the bike.

It was only tough to install because the compression fixture that fits inside the carbon steerer tube which was supposed to be included, per the instructions, was nowhere to be found. You shouldn't use a star nut, and other compression fixtures (Reynolds, for instance) won't fit inside the thicker walled Easton carbon steerer. I've asked Sierra to send the plug. We'll see what happens. Otherwise, the fork is a smoking deal and a very nice fork for your favorite road steed.

I replaced a cromo fork on a steel frame "fixie" with this fork. Replacement went well and was easy. This fork has a carbon steerer tube, is very light, and a fine upgrade that softened the harshness of the ride. Looks very cool, too.
