VERY disappointed in STP. This seat post has been extensively used, so much that many of the markings on the post have been worn off and the bolt to the clamp is all rusted! They sent me a heavily USED product, and now they have none left. Awful quality control.

Great looks, crazy light, solid so far. I've heard horror stories of carbon mtb posts; broken, slipping, scratches, etc.. I've had none of these problems. It took a little work to get the right tension on the clamp but I've put 100 plus miles on it now and no problems. I ride all single track and it really softens the bumbs on my hardtail. I run Easton post, stem, and bar. They all work great. Thanks STP!!!!!

I originally bought one 27.2 mm for my road bike and one 31.6 for my mountain bike. They were so beautiful and nicely finished and light that I bought another two 27.2 mms for a couple of future projects. Good design with a relief flat so the slot doesn't carve up the shaft. The 31.6 had a lovely carbon fiber pattern but the 27.2 was just finished in flat black. Nice gradations on the shaft so you can know how much shaft is sticking in. ;-) Love these posts. I think everyone should have seatposts this nice. I put one on my new time trial bike, my old mountain bike, the new road bike I'm building for my girlfriend, and a new fixie I'm building. Do you think I liked the posts? The price was killer...
