    The 'look' of it is very long nosed - although it fits comfortably. Athletic as in good for walking while traveling, running errands, daily wear. Not an athletic shoe itself. Due to all the straps you can adjust it very well to your foot. Good velcro so they don't pop up.

    Purchased this shoe for my mom especially due to the size indicated 4.5-5 as well as a cute style and name brand. I was sorely dissapointed upon arrival, the shoe fit my foot, I wear a 6-6.5 shoe! I had to send it back immediately, what I don't get is that other Ecco shoes sold through Sierra state that the size I got is equal to 5-6 american...so they can't be consistent with the info they provide, it was a hassel and dissappointing.

    These are supposed to be a 4.5, but they're more like a 6. I'll have to wear thick socks, or maybe just give them to charity, as I'm spending so much to send shoes back that it's hardly worth it. This is my first experience with velcro closures, and I wish they laced up instead. On the plus side, they're very well made, of high-quality soft leather. I would recommend this shoe to a friend who wears a size 6.
