good fit around the foot section, however at the top of the boot just above the ankle the banded leather was too tight around my leg. Had to send them back

Great boots for the office and going out. The wool lining is just right, it keeps my feet warm without overheating. May be too warm in the summer, will have to see. Quality construction, comfortable, and light weight. The only negative is they run a little large. I typically wear a 9, I ordered a 42 (which says is comparable to a 8 - 8 1/2)and they are slightly too large... but not enough to try a smaller size. All in all, a great dress boot.

Eccos are always sized correctly -- European sizing works best for me and wish U.S. would catch up. These are handsome and warm. Also comfortable. There is a funny pinch in the leather at the front where the leather attaches to the sole in the toe area. Could be why they're a closeout.

Smart Ecco function, and understated but unmistakable style.

I felt that they were too big for 11.5 (US) since these are 45 (EU)
