Ecco RXP Trail Attack Shoes (For Women)

Great shoes! I wear between at 6 1/2 and a 7 so I initally got the size 7 - 7 1/2 and they were too big. I would say those fit more of a 7 1/2 to 8. Perfect shoes once I got the correct size.

Never mind the color - these shoes are comfortable and have great traction. At nearly 80 I can stride out in these on my daily walk without fear of slipping on our cold wet pavements.

After two foot surgeries for heel spurs and plantar fac., need lots of arch support and these shoes didn't have it.

When I put these shoes on, I was able to run errands all day. I just bought them so I don't know about the durability, but if they are the quality of Ecco for the last 10 years, they should wear very well.

Can't rate them on durability since I've only worn them three days (new!) but they're comfortable, give me good stability and are a pleasure to wear. I wear them for power walking at the beach. Got a few compliments on the color (bright blue) so that's a plus; I've not had a compliment on my athletic shoes before :)

The shoe seems the right width for socks. I have worn them around the house for a day and they are very comfortable, no pressure points.

My students looked the look

I was expecting these shoes to be comfy, but WOW! This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. Stable enough for kickboxing, wind sprints on the street, and light hiking, but so cushy I never have that "can't wait to take these shoes off" feeling. Normally I replace the manufacturer's insole with Superfeet, but this insole is perfect. Most shoes do not have enough lateral support for the activities I like, but these are definitely an exception. And they're extremely light, so they must be superbly engineered. I'd give them six stars if I could! But I guess I'll subtract a star for the limited color selection, as they only come in a very bright blue. So there we are: five stars.

This is a typical well-made ecco shoe. This however is not a heavy duty deep woods shoe. Best for on-road or light trail duty. Fits true to size and is well made.
