Ecco Shade Shoes - Slip-Ons (For Women)

I noticed the variance of people's comments about these shoes, however when I saw them in my size, I quickly ordered a pair because of my past experience with Ecco. I wanted dark brown shoes that would look good with pants and would be comfortable for work, where I'm often on my feet. I've been wearing them for a few months now and they are so very comfortable, look good with nice slacks and still look new. I have no complaints at all, just wish they also came in black.

I do a lot of walking around a hospital to organize clinical studies. These are professional looking with all the comfort of sneakers.

I bought this shoe for work. It looks nice but it seems cheaply made for an Ecco. The leather feels kind of like plastic and there's not enough cushion in the bottom of the shoe. Unfortunately my orthopedic inserts don't fit very well in them either. I have another pair of Eccos that are super comfortable so I was disappointed to learn these weren't of the same quality.

This shoe feels just made for my foot (size 8.5, medium to narrow, bought 8.5/medium; is very lightweight, the leather is glove-soft and smooth, the tone of brown is classic chocolate. Buying shoes without trying them on is always risky - well, this time it was definitely worth it.

Light and sturdy. Meet all my expectations.

Not right for my type of foot. Fit my heel (I have a narrow heel), but was too tight for my forefront. I would recommend this shoe for someone with a narrower foot, because of the cushioning and quality material.

Good support for tired feet.

I stood in a puddle for 20 min in a pair of Ecco Shade shoes and came out with slightly damp feet.

I took a chance on these shoes and am glad I did- very nice looking and oh so comfortable! They look fantastic with casual Dockers and wool slacks, and are the perfect traveling shoes. My only complaint would be that, because my shoe size falls in the 8 1/2 to 9 range, I tend to fall in between Ecco shoe sizes. These shoes are just a bit bigger than I would normally wear, however,they still are a great bargain and worth every penny!
