Ecco Solid Knee-High Trouser Socks - Over-the-Calf (For Women)

Since Ecco shoes are great, I expected no less of these socks. They are just what I wish all socks were (smooth, understated, expected to be durable) except for the fact that they are a little short on me. I could use at least another inch, as I want my knee-socks to cover my calf. I just expected socks offered by a Danish company would have adequately long socks; they are made in China, however. Maybe the factory can't believe northern European sizes are for real! I'll keep them because they are of better quality than all of my other socks. Great price from STP.

they are perfect for daily use with shoes and boots

I am 5'6", wear a size 9.5 shoe, and have larger than average calves. I have trouble finding boots and knee-high socks that accomodate larger calves without either being too short or the band being too tight and hurting after hours of wear. These are very stretchy and cover my calves (barely), and the band is also very stretchy and extremely comfortable! Seems like they will stay up, too. A very nice, basic, comfortable, versatile sock. The material is neither too thin nor too thick, and looks like it will be durable. They would be great with a below-the-knee skirt, or with boots; I am pleased! (Now if I can just find some boots that accommodate larger calves...!) I believe these socks would work for smaller calves just as well due to the amazing stretch.

The best sock for pants. They have great elasticity without being tight.
