Ecco Track 5 Low Gore-Tex® Shoes - Waterproof, Leather (For Men)

I've been wearing various Eccos almost exclusively since before 2000. These are just a bit heavier and clunkier than my others have been, but I love them nevertheless. Allow for a 30-day break-in period, then you'll feel the usual Ecco comfort, in spades. These look as though they'll last 10 years or more. One note of caution: the soles of these shoes are made of extremely "grabby" hard rubber. So if you tend to drag your feet, even a little, you could find yourself going down face first. All in all, though, I think Eccos offer the greatest comfort for the money of any shoes on the planet, and these are no exception.

I have purchased numerous pairs of Ecco shoes and have yet to be disappointed. They are a very versatile shoe, especially when purchased with Gore-Tex, that can be worn for work, play and casual wear.

Wear these to work because I am inside and out on a daily basis. These meet both requirements.

I bought an earlier model of the Track Lows and they lasted for 4 years. I do construction, pest control, and home inspecting and am always on my feet, so I need shoes that will perform and can be counted on. These are shoes that answer both needs. They are durable, comfortable, and waterproof. So far I have had the Track 5 Lows for 2 weeks and, after a 1 day break-in, have been as good as my last pair.
