This would lead to blisters. I tried a lacing technique to keep my heel back in place, but then I could feel the stitching rubbing against my foot. I have two other pairs of Ecco boots, and they are still my favorite. But the Track 6 isn't for a person who needs the smaller heel cup.

Some of the models between the 2 and 6 were a little disappointing compared to the 2s, but the 6s are great. I've had a pair of the shoes for some time, and jumped when I saw that the boots were on STP.
I always wear 43 in Ecco, regardless of the style. I typically wear 10 or 10.5 US. These fit me perfectly like all Ecco 43. -

I have many pairs of Ecco dress shoes and Ecco duplicated the comfort of their dress shoes to the boot. I have only had these boots for about a month now so I'm not sure on quality. I also like the look. Not too trendy, but not too bulky (personal preference)

I have found that ECCO products have in a wide spectrum of quality and I've learned to avoid their lower cost products, which aren't made quite as well as their higher end products. (I guess that can be expected) These boots are very nice boots for casual wear, and the quality level is above average. These are not really built for hiking or working, but I knew that when I bought them. I typically wear a 12.5, and I have a slightly wide foot. I bought the size 46 which fits well.

I also like that they are not bulky but are still very warm. The only negative is that the grip on the sole in snow and ice is not as good as I am used to with other boots.

These fit the bill and are a nice sturdy casual boot or even work boot. Very comfortable and warm. My only complaints are the laces seem to come loose a few times a day and the toes are a bit clunky.
These run a little to the large size, so consider dropping 1/2 size down. I am usually a 44 and ordered a 43 and it fit great.
