“cute, comfortable, too big”

“I wanted a pair of boots for Christmas that I could use to run around in the cold, wet, snowy/slushy Minnesota winters. My mom got these for me and I liked them, but the pair she got was too big, and the pair I exchanged them for was too big as well. Maybe they run big? Maybe the European sizing isn't true to American sizing? I ordered the smallest size possible and they were still at LEAST a size bigger than a 5. Since I never got to wear them out, I don't know how they measure up against the conditions.”
