Ecco X-TREME Sandals - Mary Janes (For Women)

I love these shoes and ordered these when I found them online. I bought my first pair about 2 years ago and wanted another pair. They are so comfy that some days I put them on to go to the gym, then just keep them on for the rest of the day!

Finally a shoe wide enough I can wear heavy socks. It is really a wide shoe.

Wish they had come one size larger

My favorite casual shoes are Ecco, so I tried these. Comfortable for warehouse shopping on concrete floor. Mesh vents helped with Florida heat. Some Velcro straps I have to pull to the floor on my narrow feet, but these fit easily.

These are perfect for walking in warmer weather.

This is about my fifth pair of Ecco X-TREME Sandals -- it's nice to find them at a discount. The insole comes out, and I always replace it with an insole that provides the specific support I need. Velcro straps make it easy to fine tune the fit, and the breakin required is minimal. I do notice that the inside of the heel strap tends to rub out, so when I get a new pair I put a heel protector on (or mole skin) and they last a really long time.

Nice for casual wear when I won't be on my feet a great deal.

Got these shoes for trip to London - on my feet all day 9 days straight. Can't say my feet didn't hurt even with these shoes, but they were very comfortable and supportive. I think it would have been a lot worse without them. Great looking shoe as well - doesn't have that "support shoe" look and not over the top athletic looking. I was comfortable wearing these to a wide variety of places and they looked great with my casual pants. They are a little wide in the heel which I originally didn't like, but after walking in them a bit and adjusting the straps a couple of times they were fine. Having adjustment at the heel and on top makes the fit "custom". I liked the fact that the toe guard made me feel more comfortable in large crowds (I am short and get my toes stepped on a lot), but didn't look heavy or clunky. I came home and ordered a pair for my mother for mother's day - she loves them too.

I was disappointed when I tried on these shoes. They were too wide and too big all over. Would have exchanged for a smaller size but it was not available.

Shoes do run BIG. I am normally size 7 in sneakers I took a size 36. They are GREAT shoes! I hiked the Galapagos in them and walked everyday in Manhattan (rain and shine) for over a year before they wore out. On my second pair in orange! Love them. Even wear then with sun dresses.
