I've tried to find a water proof hiking/walking shoe and finally I have. Very comfortable. Second wearing these shoes felt like long time friends.     These are beautifully crafted shoes. I own another pair of Ecco shoes and they are very comfortable. Unfortunately this pair does not work for me, so I will have to return them. They are quite stiff, also the tongue sticks out straight and rubs my feet.

    Fit like a glove from the get go. There is enough ankle support to make the shoe suitable for some serious uphill hiking. Firm and stable on rough terrain, with good traction. The only disappointment was that there is no leather insole, even though that was in the description. Performance makes up for that, though.
