Reviewed by yositune from Alexandria, VA on Friday, May 2, 2014THe edging held up pretty well with these and I ended up buy 5-6 pairs between my son and I. Stock is out on these but would probably buy them from other sources. Was my first pair of Edelrid shoes and was impressed and ended up with 4-5 pairs of the Ravens myself.
Reviewed by Oh yeah from North east on Thursday, February 27, 2014The shoes looked a lot more aggressive in person. I followed sizing suggestions but the shoes were too small. I also noticed the end of the shoe was very high and stiff. It hit my ankle and was extremely uncomfortable. It is unfortunate but realistically I could never climb with these shoes.
Reviewed by CJ from Ut on Wednesday, January 1, 2014Shoes look great but do run small. I am returning and purchasing one full size larger
Reviewed by Tam from Seattle on Monday, August 19, 2013I wear women's street size 7.5-8. Knowing the shoe runs small, I ordered 6.5. Wow, was I way wrong! I could barely get my foot in the shoe.Completely disregard the facts that the shoe runs small, the sizes are mens, UK conversion. I ordered another pair immediately in size 8 because they were such a great prcie and the new shoes fit well. They are a little wide but my toes are right at the end so a smaller size is definitely not an option. These shoes are great material and made well- I wish they had worked out. I am totally happy with the new shoes and velcro straps since I didn't want laces but was willing to deal with it since I really liked shoe in the picture.

Question & Answer
“What does "UK" size mean? Is that different from US sizing? For example a size 5 says (US M Size 6, F 7)--does that mean a size 5 fits a US Men's 6 and US Women's 7 foot?”
The UK stands for United Kingdom (British Sizing) you are correct. The size 5 is US men's 6 and US woman's size 7.
“I wanted clarification on the sizing - are these men's sizes? So I should convert my shoe size to men's and THEN order a whole size larger? I wear an 8.5 in women's...”
