Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Rock wall neophyte from colorado on Wednesday, July 31, 2013Not a lot of adjustments on these but mine fit me fine. I would not like to have to hang for a long period of time in this harness but I am only climbing in a gym at this stage of the game so it is great for that use.
Reviewed by V from R on Monday, June 17, 2013I have a 84cm / 33.1" waist and a 59cm/ 23,2" leg and the medium is good for me and for bigger waist sizes. At the leg, it is quite fit but confortable.
Reviewed by Climber Corb from Seattle on Friday, June 7, 2013This harness uses a non-traditional style. If you are a climber who started out using the "see-red-you're-dead" mantra to make sure you double-backed your main buckle, this harness will throw you for a loop. No doubling back of the main buckle is needed or possible with this harness because it has a little, self-loading buckle that allows one-handed cinching, but won't come undone unless you squeeze it with two hands at the same time. I have to confess that this doesn't inspire a lot of confidence as I am not sure that a climbing scenario could never mimmic this loosening, two-handed maneuver. I like double-redundency in my climbing hardware, and this harness doesn't have it.
Also, the leg loops are not adjustable and will ALWAYS require a step-through motion, so this harness is completely inappropriate for mountaineering and other insulation-heavy environments requiring easy on/ easy-off strap systems.
Answer The harness is a unisex harness.
