Verified Buyer Reviewed by Roz from Jackson, CA on Wednesday, June 6, 2012Seems brighter than other battery-powered lanterns we've had.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Camper Dad from Minneapolis on Tuesday, May 29, 2012Ranges from just a little bright to easily able to read books around a table. I really like that you can turn it down very low, so many camping lanterns are annoyingly bright.
- Best Uses: Car Camping, Power Outage
- Pros: Bright, Simple
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Blazer from Michigan's Beautiful U.P. on Friday, May 18, 2012Nice product, tried one and bought four more as gifts for my adult children. The switch is a fine rheostat that allows you to dim and brighten from low light to very bright with no static or "flat" spots.
- Cons: none
- Pros: Lightweight bright
Reviewed by WyoBear from Wyoming on Thursday, May 10, 2012My mother requested one of these last Christmas after the second lengthy power outage in Connecticut. Having purchased hers full price elsewhere based on rave reviews, I snapped one up at a huge discount here. The light dims nicely, and at its brightest is great for lighting up a room, or lighting up a tent. It seems lightweight until you put the batteries in - then it feels sturdy, but not something you'll put in a pack.
- Best Uses: Car Camping, Emergency power outages
- Cons: Heavy batteries
