I bought this as a tactical light for shooting (FBI style is hold the light up and away with one hand and shoot with the other). Light can go on by a light press or steady on by pressing all the way to the click. I would prefer an adjustable beam but the way it is works just fine. And the beam is very bright with a brighter center spot. It claims to be able to be turned on an additional way by turning the back cap. This does not work (cap only turns to remove battery) but it's not a necessity since I will only be using it one handed anyway. Could use a belt clip.

Just like other lights of this kind the batteries do not last long. This is a very bright light (even comes with a warning label not to look into the light at close range). It only has a push button on or off tailswitch. If it had a two way or three way switch it would be perfect. Very good light for the money, and a definate bargain compared to the lights costing up to $200.

I bought two of these, one for car and one for house. It is a nice, small size, easy to handle, and is amazingly bright. Apparently battery life is only 1.5 to 3 hours on full use, although that's not an issue for me since I will use it only sporadically. The build quality looks excellent, but comparing the two that I bought, there is a noticeable difference in brightness between the two, making me wonder about uniform quality. Also, the packaging claims it has two controls, one for constant use and one for intermittent use, but the flashlight has only one control for constant use. Overall the size and brightness are very good, and so the item suits my needs well.

Compact size for such a bright light. Out performs other, more expensive lights. Brand new so I can't rate battery life.
