Eider Shield Polartec® Jacket - Soft Shell (For Men)

Used on a trip to China - hiking the great wall. The jacket sizing is accurate. The jacket is beautifully made with superior construction and materials. However it has a fatal flaw (perhaps stemming from its intended use - climbing): it is extremely uncomfortable in the underarm area when you arms are down and close to body (something that does not happen when climbing). There is a knot of seems that all come together in one spot under the arms and chafe the skin even through another layer. An unfortunate problem that ruins an otherwise great jacket. Get it if you are a climber. Avoid otherwise.
