I LOVE these sandals. They are sooo cute and very well made. But they do run large. I'm going to have my shoe guy shorten the ankle strap or add more velcro. They feel great, very comfy for walking.

Nice sandal, BUT the area of velcro closure on the ankle strap is not long enough to allow for a good fit.

Runs large. 8.5 = 38 after a couple of tries. Strap across back of heel is a bit loose. Very cute, extremely comfortable out of the box.

Here we go again wondering how to TRY shoes on before purchasing on the net...El Naturalista's styles are fun but execution of construction not standardized. I have other shoes by same company and sizes frequently differ.

I sincerely love my new sandals, but there's a couple of small things that I've found a nuisance. Firstly, the leather is already softened, so whilst they are amazingly comfortable, the back strap keeps falling below my heels when I walk. It's no big issue; I've stitched it to the side (inconspicuously) so that the strap stays without the need of constant pressure from the back my foot. Also, order a size smaller than the site recommended. Being a size 7, they said I should get a 38, but I went with gut instinct since my feet are narrow and ordered a 37, which fits like a charm, if not still just slightly too wide (plenty fine for me, however). They need virtually no breaking in to be comfortable all day long, and they've already started to conform to my feet. However, they're also very durable, and will go with me on many varied adventures!

I ordered both colors. The brown is gorgeous. The color named here "light green/blue" (and on the box named "white") is a very light gray with pale sickly mintish green hue to it, the only color I've seen by this brand that I find unattractive. Leather is super soft, though may be likely to stretch out too much since they already fit comfortably out of the box and are so soft. They are super comfortable but the velcro strap on back does not have enough velcro, too big for me (and I have average to wide feet) so they fit well overall but end up feeling like flip-flops because of the strap being too large. Not an easy enough fix for me so am returning them but keeping the cute ikebana leaf sandals (rose color). I am normally a 7.5 or 8 and the size 39 was correct.

This shoes are going to be great in boat with washed down deck - has a great rubber "grippy" sole - when first put on really felt the support and comfort

This look great and are soo confortable! This is a great sustainable brand.

The rubber soles are a pleasure to work on.
