Reviewed by Bobbikinz from California on Tuesday, December 17, 2013The silver chrome lens isn't the best for transitioning between sun and shadows but that's easily rectified by buying new lenses for the goggles. They are a great overall pair and would absolutely buy them again.
Makes me feel like Judge Dred when i wear these with my helmet
Reviewed by Joe Guns from Colorado on Wednesday, December 11, 2013These goggles have a great wide view and help protect your eyes from snow blindness (which I'm informed is a real thing...!) I just wish it had changeable visor pieces to accommodate for the different strengths of light depending on the weather.

I bought 2 Electric EG2 , one with bronze lens (Bright Sun / Cloudy conditions) , another with blue( Flat Light / Cloudy / Snowing conditions) .I have a small to medium face, so one fits better on me (the blue lens) without pinching my nose , another on my husband. He has a medium to large sized face and the bronze lens ones fit very good with helmet. The most wonderful thing so far is that the oversized spherical lens provides the widescreen with more peripheral vision, better view of what is above and below you , they say it's good for steeps. As for me,a lack of a thick frame in your field of vision allows to see hazards (and people) off to the side before they become an issue.
You should shop by conditions too, some lenses are designed to perform much better in low light , some are for bright sunny days. These are lenses in the middle of the spectrum that perform fairly well in all conditions during a day, I think.
Thank you SierraTradingPost, great deals and great brands - so true!
