“classic with a twist”

“I bought this dress for upcoming interviews, so haven't worn it out yet, but just trying it on, it's great. It has nice detailing which you can't see in the picture, like subtle pink piping at the neckline. the bow is a nice feminine touch in what is otherwise a severe design, more masculine/business design and plaid. I wasn't expecting the bit of silver thread in the plaid pattern, and I had to think about whether that made it a bit too flashy (I'm not a glitter kind of person) but decided (after consulting several friends) that it's subtle enough that the dress is still tasteful. It's also very slimming. A keeper.”
