Elle Slide Mules (For Women)

These were lovely shoes; the colors look better in person and the decorative buckle does not look gaudy. I ordered two pair and when a third color became available I ordered it. I wore one pair around the house for a few hours on several days to be sure that they were comfortable. On a Monday, eight days ago, I wore the same pair into work; it was the first time I had them on for a full day. By Tuesday morning my right foot was swollen; by Friday I had a very swollen area on my right foot and had to stay off my foot completely through Monday. Today is Tuesday and I just got home from the doctor; she told me that the shoe irritated my foot in the most common area (near the big toe joint) and that it would take a few more days for the swelling to go down. She told me to look at the inside of the shoe to see if there was a seam that could have caused the problem. I looked at the shoe and found that there is a seam or overlap in the shoe lining that hit my foot exactly where I had the problem. It is paper thin and I am amazed that it could have caused such a painful and long lasting problem. Unfortunately I have to return all three pairs - and one pair hasn't even arrived yet! If this hadn't happened, I would have kept them as they really are pretty shoes. They do not have good arch support, however if you are not walking a lot they are comfortable. I share the concern of another reviewer in that the design of the bottom of the shoe raised concerns regarding durability.

really great shoe for the money

These are great shoes! I wear them to work, for driving, to go out to dinner, to go shopping - almost anywhere. The little accent of bling just sets them off perfectly and the skin tones go with almost anything. The open back keeps them "cool" temperature wise enough for summer, but I'm guessing they'll go three seasons at least.

I love the color (green).Looks dressy enough for a business meeting yet comfortable to walk all day and run errands. I'm thinking to buy another pair in different color...

Very attractive and comfortable shoe.

I am not sure how there going to last, but they seem to be doing well so far. I really enjoy the shoes and I think they always look great. They are sort of thinner than I thought they'd be so that's the only reason why I'm worried a/b them lasting.

Immediately comfortable

I wear this shoe to drive in and leisure time as well as for casual outing. They are great with jeans and have worn them with some slacks when I did not want to wear heels. The color is beautiful (green) and the jeweled ornament add that extra something. A wonderful shoe!

They have more orange in the shoe than the picture shows. It looks like it is tan in the picture but there are shades of orange. Saw these shoes for [$] in a high end store.
