Ellington Amelia In-Flight Travel Tote Bag (For Women)

I use this bag daily for school. Personal items and my students' papers fit nicely.

I bought it because I need a bag to carry a lot of stuff daily. I liked this bag because it had several separate zippered compartments including an organizer pocket (for credit cards, pens, etc.) I did end up returning it because it was just to big and bulky to carry it around on a daily basis.

Debated on this for a while, but saw it in a store and looked it over. Lots of pockets. Bag zips down the center to keep your items secure. Price was too good to pass up when compared to the store's retail. Not featherweight, but light enough. Might prove to be heavy after putting in all my junk, but there is a zipper on one side to piggy back onto a carry-on. Straps are long enough to put on your shoulder but the bag also comes with a detachable/adjustable shoulder strap. Would be nice if it had interior pockets for pens and other items--only one zippered pocket inside. The one major drawback--the exterior pockets are not secure, so I'm not sure if it is useful. Won't be putting anything in those for fear of losing items. Would have been better to have zippered pockets on the outside too or at least a snap/magnetic closure--and the size of the pockets (half size of the bag) is not very useful. There is one exterior pocket with a snap closure, but that pocket is only about 8 inches wide although it runs the length of the bag (yes!). Haven't used the bag yet, but will do so on my upcoming trip.

Just used this on weekend trip. Held ipad, kindle, ipod, magazines, wallet(s), glasses..and much more. Only downside is the straps...the carry straps do not sit well on shoulder, the shoulder strap is oddly placed (it clips on). It kept sliding off the shoulder. But fit under the airplane seat with travel pillow attached.

This appears to be a really great bag, but I plan to return it. It is of excellent quality has tons of pockets (a few I wasn't even aware of) and the gray color is very nice. After an exhaustive search to find the perfect diaper bag for twins that I am expecting, I decided to try a regular travel-type bag. I eventually came across this and by all accounts it seemed perfect. However, after seeing it in person, I think it will be a bit too small for my needs. It is too bad. I really like the bag and wish it would have worked. I think it would be a perfect "diaper bag" for someone with only one child.
