I'm on the fence about this bag. It's nice but I'm not saying "wow". I think I expected a smaller bag and this is on the big side. The strap is short and the shortness combined with the wide strap and the big bag is almost too much. It would be better if the strap were less wide to help offset the shortness. I'm not a small person, just average, but this bag feels too big for me. For the right person, this would make a good everyday or casual going out bag. I'll probably keep it and see if it grows on me or give it as a gift.

Bought this as a gift and was quite happy with it. The only complaint is that the strap is not adjustable - and though it fits on the shoulder fine and hangs nicely right under the arm, it would be better if it could be made a little longer. But it really is a minor complaint as it hangs fine at the length it is, and really is a lovely bag.

I like this purse so much...better than I had expected...I have the same one in a wine color. I must like it, because I bought this second black one! I have come to appreciate its compact size, and how it tucks in close to the body. The strap on this purse is a conversation piece. I love Ellington products.

Love Ellington products...this one is a little disappointing: strap kinda short, suede not too suede-y...I still like it enough to keep it, however. Love the design on the strap.
