Reviewed by utahjohn from utah on Monday, December 9, 2013having a sturdy rectangular stone in the oven is excellent for a baking surface and also for making the oven temperature uniform for all-around baking. Just keep it on the bottom shelf. This stone appears to be of excellent quality
Reviewed by jh from Boise, ID on Sunday, December 8, 2013I've been eyeing baking stones for months now. I found this one and couldn't pass it up for the price. So far I've baked rolls, pizza, and bread on this and all have turned out perfectly. The handles make it easy to get it in and out of the oven.
Having never owned a baking stone before, I don't know how to judge quality. Though it seems nice and thick, and the baked goods it turns out are excellent!
Reviewed by req from Montana on Thursday, December 5, 2013have not used this yet, but seems to be good quality, large size, and thickness is consistent. surface is even.
Reviewed by Gingerbread from Massachusetts on Wednesday, December 4, 2013Had been looking for a rectangular pizza stone. So glad I came upon this one. It is a great size and has great built in handles so it's easy to pick up. It is also useful for cooking cookies and French fries. Plus the price was right!
Reviewed by ChicagoWoman from Chicago,Il on Friday, November 22, 2013Perhaps its good ...but oh so fragile.
Packed in bubble wrap and sent among other cushioning items - still came shattered to pieces.
Perhaps its the packaging - or perhaps it isnt all that heavy duty after all.
