Empress Silk Charmeuse Comforter - Queen

We just received this and the initial impressions are quite good. I do note that all the searches we did before buying this revealed 100% mulberry silk filler with two weight options (summer and winter) and a size of 88x90. This is indeed a 88x88 polyester filled silk covered comforter that does not require dry cleaning. The light brown is almost gold but looks to go well with the variety of colors we have in sheet sets. The real reason for this early review is to provide something missing from the description: the fill weight for a queen is marked on the tags here as 51 ounces. So a 4 star reviews for now until we have some wear and cleaning under our belt. Everything else is looking good.

Very pleased. The comforter is more a bed cover, so lightweight, shams are comfy, but are cool to touch, best for warm weather use.

This silk comforter was a great deal. I love silk bedding and 'Empress Silk' is one of my favorite makers. This comforter is thick but not heavy and is warm, but no too hot. It is beautiful and the price was less than half what I paid at other retailers. If you love silk like me, this is a must buy.

A beautiful comforter, upscale and functional, too! I love the fact that it's silk and also washable.

We upgraded our daughter's comforter and she loves this new one. This comforter was a surprise that she first saw when she came home for the holidays. She is pretty picky and says when she dislikes anything. Anyway, she loves it and wishes she could take it back with her.
