Reviewed by LJ from IL on Sunday, January 13, 2013I can't find one bad thing to say about these. They're just like the pictures...no surprises. If you don't like the thinner sole (which by-the-way is super flexible and not stiff as mentioned by someone else), you might not want to order. It's a non-cumbersome, easy on, easy off boot with lovely fleece lining. I wear 8.5M, but always buy 9's in boots, and they're perfect.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by cold feet from virginia on Tuesday, November 27, 2012Not nearly as warm as I would like. Don't like the look of basic uggs so looking for an alternative. Look is fine but not as comfortable or warm as I would like. The sole is very stiff. Unfortunately, they just were returned.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by The shopper from St. Louis, MO on Monday, November 19, 2012This is a stylish short 'ugg' style boot. The leather and wool were of good quality. I didn't keep the boots for myslef, I had ordered two styles. Luckily a friend loved them and took them home. My reason for deciding against them was the thin sole, I like more padding & support. This wasn't an issue for her.
Reviewed by Still looking for the Perfect Boot from Boston, MA on Thursday, November 8, 2012I was looking for an easy-on pair of warm casual boots. I have a pair of UGG minis, but liked the slimmer profile of these boots; thought I'd try them.
These are fine for the purpose, but you have to not expect that these feel the same as UGGs. The sock liner and sole are about half as thin, so they don't feel as warm and cushiony. Because the sole is so thin, there's also very little arch or foot support.
The fit is wider and looser than I expected. The shape of the boot at the arch (where it joins the shaft) is quite high, and my heel rides up a bit with each step.
Still, these are good casual boots for the price. They will be fine if I wear them with socks and perhaps put in some sheepskin insoles.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by ponygal from Nor Cal on Friday, June 22, 2012Nice looking boot but it runs a half size too small and would rub on my feet even tho I got the size I always wear in sheep boots. Or, if you have narrow feet they may work for you. I like the general idea of the boots... a little tougher than doubleface sheepskin boots may have been more versatile but Emu's sizing is just off for my feet.
- Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Poor Fit, Uncomfortable
- Sizing: Feels half size too small
- Width: Feels too narrow
