This is an excellent flash light for glove-compartment or back-packing. Uses only one AA battery, but has a bright beam, and long battery life (due to its LED design). Have not seen a better flash light!

A handy little flashlight that fits well in a scrub pocket and has a clip to keep it from falling out. Bought it to use as an exam light. Haven't had a chance to evaluate how long the battery will last, but for a moderately bright LED, I expect each battery will last for a long time. Solid construction and appears well sealed enough to stand up to casual disinfection at work.
For hiking, I would use a headlamp, but for work uses, it's a handy little light, and is heavy enough that I'll notice if it falls out of my pocket.
The on off button is very sensitive and will turn the light on with even a light touch before the light engages. On the plus side allows you to almost strobe the light with rapid light touches, but if it's stored anywhere where pressure might be applied to the button, it could well stay engaged accidentally. In my pocket, I haven't noticed the button being engaged on it's own, and I don't expect it will just sitting loose in my medical bag either.

I every-day carried this light for about 5 years. It has been reasonably reliable with a lithium AA primary battery. Sometimes it requires a slight twist of the tail cap to get to the right spot so that the light works. Its 50 lumens are bright enough for most applications; 100+ lumen lights are of relatively little use in day-to-day activities. the workmanship is a little better than you would expect from the energizer brand. There is unnecessary material, making the diameter bigger than it needs to be.
