I purchased these for my children ages 15 and 13. They LOVE them. They are light enough to carry in their backpack and set up anywhere. I did purchase from another site a set of ENO Atlas straps for easy set up and take down. Also, my husband is 6'3" and it is long enough for him to lounge in, but it wouldn't be comfortable for him to sleep in. I expect years of use from these hammocks.

I'm 193cm tall (6'3") and the hammock is just long enough for me. Fairly compact and having the bag attached makes it easy to pack away and means you can't really lose the bag. I removed the metal hooks because it suits me to use a Sheet Bend to secure my tethers directly to the cord at each end of the hammock and as a result it's a bit lighter and avoids having bits of metal swinging around and banging into things.

Perfect for one person, it is quite cozy and comfortable for those relaxing spring and fall days. It also breaths well for those hot summer days.

These ENO RestNest hammocks are great fun. Easy to pack, easy to set up, comfortable, lightweight, and they last a long time if you don't leave them set up 24hrs a day. I bought 3 at this price. We have friends that bring theirs on river trips and always find ourselves sneaking in to them whenever they are empty. Bought an olive one for hunting camp, maybe even as my primary sleep method for spike camping. These are NOT the double-sized ones, so don't expect to be relaxing comfortably with a partner in them, they are not big enough. Overall, though, well worth the great STP price.

    • Answer This product does come with the "S hooks" and rope at each end but does not include tree straps to hook the s-hooks to. No problem, tree straps are only 22 bucks.

    • Answer You are correct. It does not come with the carribeaner type hardware but it comes with some hooks that work alright. I would suggest getting some carribeaners and removing the hooks all the same.
