    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    It took A bit to get it to work right. First, I didn't get any steam pressure because the safety steam valve wasn't screwed on tightly. Then I destroyed the rubber washer by over tightening the valve. After getting a replacement rubber washer from the hardwear store, it has worked very faithfully. I recomend buying one and tossing the esbit stove part, just use it on whatever camp stove you already have (4-6 minutes). The esbit fuel method takes about 22-26 minutes with almost no wind. Great coffee, depending on what you put in of course.

    This cup is a double edged sword: Uninsulated anodized aliminum so it warms your hands when filled with hot liquids (but cools off the liquid a lot quicker). Of course, you can reheat your drink by placing the cup directly over the fire! It's small and light. Perfect for a single cup of coffee or tea but NO MORE. If you drink large volumes then you need something bigger. The bangle is comfy and heat resistant. I just took it on a 2 night snowshoeing trip in Mt San Jacinto CA (Nov 2011)
