    I love this vest. The color shimmers in beautiful blue/purple tones. The lining is a classy pattern and the construction is superb. The hood zips off, but is great in the rain or cold weather. There is an internal cord at the waist that can be tightened if you desire a closer fit. The pockets zip closed for security. While this vest would be great on the slopes, I've been wearing it for daily use as well as nicer casual occasions. I found that I liked this vest so much that I came back and ordered another one for my sister for Christmas.

    Beautiful garment, more suited to a real skier than your average cold person who may desire the addition of sleeves. I was worried that the fabric would be like that tacky taffeta-like material that came out in the 90's, the kind that is two colors at once, but thankfully it's up-to-date and very high quality, shimmery like silk yet durable. Although not exactly understated, the purple is almost cobalt blue and fairly versatile if you like to wear unusual colors. I love the furry hood- purple velvety fur inside and purple fluffy trim. Nice silky lining with a funky geometric print. I am petite but ample-chested and the small seemed a little too big. Remember: you can order two different sizes and send one back.

    This vest is so feminine and beautiful! The fabric is really luxurious and has a pretty sheen. The vest is lightweight and just perfect for running around town or hitting the slopes. It has an interior drawstring which helps define the waist. The detachable hood is lined in matching faux fur (so soft!), and the vest has a contrasting color on the inside which really adds interest. The colors are simply gorgeous. I liked it so much that I purchased both the red and blue. Gorgeous!
