I am 5'9, 140ish, over 50 and in decent shape but with a tummy after having two kids. My teenager said, "Mom, that's not the most flattering dress for you" and he was right. I could have worn this when I was 5'10 and 130 before kids, and it would have been spectacular.

This dress may look good on a thin person, or someone that can wear a very fitted dress. It showed all the lumps and bumps. Probably need to order a size up too.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad for someone with a large bust where it'll only show the tops of them. I am going to sew on some snaps or Velcro to keep the cowl closed so it'll stay more like a V-neck.

I am 5' 7" and about 138, sort of athletic build. Not very curvy, so I was worried about the drape neckline being too drapey. It looks just fine. The hem hits me right at my knee, which is fine for me, but if you want something shorter, I would pass, or plan on hemming this.

Ended up sending it back. Sure hated to do that, because I liked that material. I would have had to wear a slip because it seemed a little thin but that's okay. it looked sexy without being too revealing if I would have had the right size. too bad though.

I was disappointed when it arrived. The fabric is super thin and clingy. I wear either a L or XL and got this in XL thinking it would be roomy. Not so! It was not flattering at all. I sent it back.
