    Comfortable right out of the box. I'm difficult to fit. Except for a rare sneaker can wear only Birkinstock or Hafflingers. I did get a half size larger based on a review or two and they fit perfectly. I need a neutral position footbed due to foot problems and I guess how I walk. I'm ordering another pair.

    I'm used to running in Saucony and Adidas, but thought I would give these a try. The support structure in the foot bed just felt strange. I am already prone to foot issues so I didn't want to take a chance, so I sent these back. I am suspect of the quality.

    Great shoe, especially for the price but -- be sure to use a shoe horn or loosen laces completely when putting them on -- if you force your heel in even a little you can cause the heel cushioning that is under the lining to 'buckle' and bunch up -- and once it's done there is no un-doing it.

    Very good shoe for anyone who needs a LOT of motion control, and it seems to have decent cushioning but maintains a firm feel. It would be kind to say that the shoe has an almost retro look...but I have done some long runs in these and my feet, ankles, and knees are feeling good, so I can forgive the appearance.
